Design
Who doesn't know it: You have a roll of kitchen twine – and from month to month it gets darker or simply "dirtier". Dust, but also grease from the air, settles on the roll. Cotton in particular is very sensitive here because it also readily absorbs moisture.
To keep the twine clean and protected, I designed a suitable container for my new roll, from which the thread can be removed without opening the lid.
The air between the top edge of the spool and the lid is deliberately planned – it is necessary so that the thread can run smoothly. The elevation in the lid also prevents the spool from "bouncing" when unwinding and ensures a smoother, more even run.

Dimensions
Inner diameter / max. spool outer: 88 mm
Spool core: 22 mm
Spool height: 95 mm
I used Bambu Lab PLA Basic – works great.
PLA from other manufacturers should also work without problems.
For materials like PETG, please note: Due to the different shrinkage factor, the dimensions may change slightly.
