Ian Fraser Kilmister " Lemmy " Statue

🎸 Lemmy lives. And now on your shelf too. 🎸

IMPORTANT !!!!! A smooth print only works with the 3mf file because the STL file lacks cutting information.

This statue is a small, loud homage to Ian Fraser Kilmister – Lemmy, the man who knew:

"Born to lose, live to win."

I originally made this model as a gift for a good friend – because true friendship is recognizing that you 3D print rock legends for each other 🤘
But hey, maybe there are more people out there who would be happy with a mini Lemmy, who silently but very convincingly says:

"Rock'n'Roll is not a music genre. It's a way of life."

The statue is approximately 150 mm tall, but can be easily scaled – Lemmy looks good in any size after all.
The pedestal is printed separately, and for assembly you only need some glue and the inner calm of a rock fan.

The whole thing was printed with:

• 0.16 mm layer height
• 0.4 mm nozzle
• on my P2S

If you want to get even more detail, you can of course work with a smaller or variable layer height. Lemmy would probably have said:

"If you do it, do it right."

Very important:
✔ clean print bed
✔ well-calibrated printer

The supports are easy to remove, but – like a good bassline – a bit of finesse is required.

🧠 Transparency Part (because honesty rocks):
The model was created with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Firefly and then refined a bit further in Nomad Sculpt.
Yes, AI was involved – and that quite openly.
If you have a problem with that: please do not print. It's that simple. Lemmy would probably have just said about it:

"Don't like it? Then leave it." 😏
