Decorative lightbox inspired by the mythical Dakar Rally raid.
This model features an iconic Dakar silhouette, a symbol of adventure, self-transcendence, and extreme competition, perfectly highlighted by LED backlighting.
The design is optimized for 3D printing, with clean lines and strong contrast for a powerful visual rendering, whether lit or unlit.
Ideal for garage decor, workshop, office, motorsport area, or for any rally and motor sports enthusiast.

About the lighting:
💡 For lighting, I use this complete LED kit, simple to install and perfectly suited to my models:
👉 LED strip kit 1.5 m – Neutral white (Leroy Merlin)
📦 For a clean and functional finish, I also designed a cable cover compatible with all my AR shells, available for download here:
✨ Tip: To improve light diffusion, I recommend adding a piece of aluminum adhesive tape to the bottom of the box. The result is more uniform and luminous!
🛠️ Tips for perfect adhesion in 3D printing:
Carefully clean your build plate before each print. Grease residues, dust, or fingerprints can impair adhesion and cause detachments.
Check the bed leveling: a well-leveled bed ensures a uniform and well-adhered first layer.
Use an appropriate adhesion surface: depending on your material, apply a thin layer of glue stick, an adhesive spray, or a specific tape (e.g., Kapton, BuildTak).
Correctly adjust the bed temperature to promote adhesion according to the material used (PLA, ABS, PETG, etc.).
Reduce the first layer print speed: a slower speed allows for better adhesion of the filament to the build plate.
Plan for a « skirt » or « brim » in your slicer to stabilize the first layer and limit warping.
