Description

Lightweight 3D printed banding wheels tend to stop too quickly and can feel unstable. This design solves that by incorporating 16 steel rods to add real mass and rotational inertia, resulting in a smoother, longer-lasting spin ideal for banding, trimming, and detailed pottery work.

To further improve stability, the wheel uses a double-bearing setup, significantly reducing wobble and flex under load. Combined with the added weight, this makes the wheel feel solid and precise—much closer to a commercial, fully metal banding wheel, while still being fully 3D printable.
