Description
You've pressed it many times already, what else do you want to know?
Don't Touch Me (O-05-47) is a massive yellow box. A black stripe runs horizontally across one side of the box, with a "Do Not Touch" sign on the stripe. There is also a large red button on the box, labeled "BUTTON"
This Abnormal Anomaly appears as a box-shaped machine with only one large red button that makes one irresistibly want to press it. The machine is covered in old graffiti, with the most prominent message being "DO NOT PRESS THAT BUTTON"
Many employees have reported feeling an extremely strong urge to press that button. The desire to press the button is so intense that it causes them sleepless nights. While these descriptions were initially dismissed as employee exaggeration, the increasing number of employees complaining about suffering from these lingering effects has prompted the company to devise preventative measures and countermeasures against the Anomaly's influence
There are many factors to consider when defining whether an object is an Anomaly, but the most important is "free will". We have confirmed that this machine possesses a strong will that compels those around it to intensely desire to "press that button". Therefore, this object has undeniably been classified as an Anomaly
When the button is pressed, things that should not happen will occur. Disasters will befall: for example, prismatic lights will radiate throughout the facility, or unicorns will descend, or "a super-sized bomb buried beneath the facility will explode, blowing everything in the facility to smithereens" and so on... Various rumors are spreading, but we have no way to confirm their veracity
This Anomaly not only constantly instills curiosity to press the button, but sometimes also subtly and cunningly alters its external shape, causing people to inadvertently reach for the button. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to remain vigilant towards this Anomaly at all times
The following content is an excerpt from an employee's testimony:
"When I suddenly came to my senses, I was already at the Anomaly's containment unit, almost pressing that button. If the surrounding staff hadn't pulled me away in time, I might have pressed it..." (This employee subsequently underwent numerous examinations and returned to work after all diagnostic results showed her to be completely normal. However, we later arranged for her to receive psychological counseling because she inexplicably continued to display an expression of regret for not having "pressed that button".)
