Filament Swatches PLA Basic
Print Profile(1)

Description
The Maker World project aims to create a structured and technically sophisticated solution for presenting and organizing filament materials in the field of 3D printing. The focus is on Bambu Lab's PLA Basic material, which, due to its high user-friendliness and print quality, is a widely chosen material among makers and professional users. To clearly and practically demonstrate the properties of this material, a presentation system was developed, consisting of three main components:
Multiple print plates for PLA Basic filament swatches
The print plate for filament swatches serves as a support surface for small, standardized samples of the PLA Basic material. These samples are representative of the filament's various colors and surface textures, allowing users to directly assess them tactilely and visually.
Print plate for storing and displaying filament spools on shelves
The spool holders are designed for Bambu Lab's filament spools. They enable organized storage on shelves while simultaneously providing an attractive presentation.
Label stands for clear pattern identification
The label stands are designed to match the filament swatches. They can be placed in front of the filament spool holders or glued on, allowing the swatch to be positioned directly in front of the spool.
This modular system enables both the functional organization and aesthetic presentation of filaments. The following technical description explains the individual components, their design principles, material properties, manufacturing methods, and practical application in the maker environment.
