  • Mug Warmer - with Temperature Controls x 1: Generic brand - Cosori non-pressure activated used in design.

Description

Simple PETG organiser designed to sit on flat mug warmers or hot plates (e.g. Cosori-style warmers). https://www.amazon.co.uk/COSORI-Pressure-Activated-Mug-Warmer-Temperature/dp/B089SGRVBJ - Best with non-pressure activated warmers.

I made this to help take the chill off local anaesthetic cartridges to improve patient comfort and keep composite compules organised in a budget-friendly way, especially in setups where a dedicated cartridge warmer isn’t available.

How I use it

  • LA cartridges sit in shallow cradles and warm up nicely over time.
  • Composite compules:
    • Warm best when laid flat on the small flat pads (these are the “active” warming areas).
    • Can also be stored upright in the holes for organisation and easy access (these holes are mainly for storage rather than active warming). In practice, I’ll place the composites I’m about to use flat on the pads to improve handling, and keep the rest organised upright.

Typically used on low–moderate warmer settings (similar to those used for composite warming). Final temperature depends on your heater and surroundings.

Print in PETG, 0.20 - 0.28 layer height, 15-20% infill (Gyroid), no supports needed and print flat on plate.

This is part of an ongoing, non-commercial project to design small, open-source 3D prints that make everyday dentistry smoother.
If it saves you a few seconds or a bit of cognitive load chairside, it’s done its job.

Feedback and iteration ideas are welcome.
