Description

This is a fun sailor duck that I created for hiding and giving away. This is one of the more ambitious models that I have created.

It uses five colors, but you can change the bill from orange to yellow for example to get the count down to four and print it with one AMS.

I designed these to be lightweight, because I take a lot of them when I travel.

I've added a 2nd print profile that has thicker and stronger walls and more infill, making the ducks stronger and heavier. Choose this profile, if weight is not an issue and you would like a stronger more durable duck.

The attached profile is more conservative than what I normally print. I normally use a slightly more aggressive profile, but that's riskier due to the different kinds of filaments, printers and environments that people have.

If you would like to live on the edge a bit, I printed these with authentic and properly dried Bambu Lab PLA Basic filament on a Bambu P2S. I did NOT use supports and got very minor strings that were easy to clip off (See the tie in the photo below).

Your experience may vary if you decide to turn off supports, but for me printing a whole tray of 36 it saved me time, space and filament. I probably would not have been able to fit 36 ducks on a try if I used supports.
