Sterilite 1216 Laundry Basket Handle

Modified repair handle for the Sterilite 1216 laundry basket. 1216 is the one with even rectangular cutouts on the side.

Works for ends or sides.

Modifications include:

1. Making the handle wider to follow the outer curve of the basket
2. Rebuilding the base to be a bit simpler and more solid…
3. Adding a bit of chamfer to the slots to straighten out any bent plastic

Instructions are easy -  Grind off any excess handle material just leaving the vertical sides and then push this into place. Can glue if needed.
