Description
A simple monitor mount that allows you to attach your SteamVR Base Station 2.0 directly to the top of your monitor, similar to how a webcam sits. The base station screws securely into it's provided wall mount and then that gets screwed in to the mount using the provided screws. The mount provides a convenient mounting solution when traditional wall or tripod mounting isn't ideal.
It was designed with my Asus TUF VG279QM (about 26mm thick at the very top) in mind but should work on other monitors.
While not the optimal placement method for all setups, this mount is particularly useful for:
- Temporary or portable VR setups
- Situations where wall mounting isn't possible (rentals, dorms, etc.)
- Sim racing or flight sim enthusiasts who need tracking near their seated position
- Users with limited play space who need flexible base station positioning
- Quick setup and teardown scenarios
