After the monsters from the Upside Down, it's time for one of the heroes! Here is Dustin in a stylish chibi look. This figure was created with the help of MakerLab and perfectly captures Dustin's iconic look. It's the ideal addition to my other Stranger Things models.
🖨️ Print Details & Recommendations
To print characteristic details like the cap and hair cleanly, I recommend the following configuration:
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm (Ideal for the round shapes of the chibi head)
- Walls: I used 2 walls, which optimizes print time and is completely stable enough for this model
- Support Structures: I again recommend organic tree supports. These are especially easy and clean to remove under the brim of the cap and on the arms
- Material: PLA (White or skin color is a great base if you want to paint it)
💡 Tips from "Der Druckertyp"
The figure is balanced so it stands securely. When removing supports under the cap, be careful not to scratch the surface – with organic supports, this should go almost by itself
