Description
Magnetic solar filter for ZWO Seestar S30.
I used a BAADER Astrosolar film with a density of 5.0
The metal part is made of a large paperclip (1.2 mm wire diameter) cut and bent as best as possible with tweezers, which is then inserted “with pressure” into the cavity of the "filtro_solare_interno.stl" file.
The tolerances are minimal and should allow for not using glue to lock the 2 parts, but simply by pressure inserting the inner part into the outer part with the film in between.
The measurements are correctly sized to allow the telescope arm to close with the filter mounted without friction.
