Description

Summary

The goal for this insert was to fit everything included in the Merchant's Pledge for the Special Edition on Gamefound, which includes the Acrylic Tile upgrades and the Playmat, into the box with NO LID-LIFT. The way it comes, there is about 1/2in of lid-lift, and that wasn't even including the Playmat.

Compatibility

✔️ Expansions

  • Acrylic Tiles
  • Playmat

 ✔️Sleeved Cards

(unsleeved version is included as STL files if you'd prefer)

Optional Board Tray

I have also created a tray to hold all the boards, reference guides, and rulebook, in case you want even more insert-goodness. The rest of the insert will work totally fine without this. Included with this is a small “Tile Tray Support” piece that helps hold up the underside of one of the tile trays. It also holds the solo-board.

Special Notes

  • This insert replaces all the included plastic trays that come with the Special Edition, but does use the 2 tile trays that come with the Acrylic Tile upgrade set.
  • If you don't have the mat, there is a spacer file available for download (STL).
  • Player Portrait tiles can be stored in the player boards or in the solo card holder (that's where I keep them).

works brilliantly - just as convenient to play with as the original vacuum formed insert, but i'm not worried about damaging it. Fits all the pieces with ease. I printed this with a different colour per "quadrant" so I if my group helps pack it up I can tell them just to keep like colours together.

Exceptional Insert ! Original insert was not that bad, but Your design is fantastic, and no lid lift + playmat inside very cool. I used Panchroma matte navy blue and PolyTerra wood brown. Thanks!

amazing. the pictures were my lid lift with the original inserts plus the acrylic tiles. now no lid lift at all with this. I also applied white filament layers to the worker trays to make the numbers more easily visible. really happy with how that turned out too.

I didnt think about changing to white for the numbers layers, great thinking. I may quickly put some paint in mine.

There was definitely an issue with adding the acrylic tiles to the original box. It added a 1/2 inch lift to the box lid.

What a great design. Printed flawlessly. The insert that came with the game was functional but it was hard to see what resources were in which spot if you were across the table, along with the lid lift. Its nice having sturdier holders for everything and absolutely no lid lift. Funny how perfectly you designed this insert compared to a big multimillion dollar company who designs these inserts for a living lol. Anyways, 10 out of 10 good sir.

Excellent work. I used a silver sharpie to make the worker trays more visible.

This is amazing! Unfortunatly I didn’t order the playmat, is it possible to create a spacer (like a hexed empty box or similar) to take up the same amount of space the playmat does so everything stays in place?

Thanks! This is great. I have an A1 mini so couldn't fit it all in one print, so just cut it in half. This works ok, but the structural integrity is compromised. Any chance you could make 2 smaller boxes with the base and walls around all 4 sides of each? Thanks so much!!!
