Description

I spent weeks printing and testing nearly every anti-vibration foot design available for the Bambu Lab A1, including multiple adapters intended to use P1S/X1C feet. None of them fully solved the problem.

That changed when I discovered a design that uses a bottom TPU spring to significantly improve vibration absorption. While the spring concept worked extremely well, the top adapter that interfaces with the A1’s stock feet had a critical flaw: it did not lock into the printer’s feet and relied solely on tape to prevent the foot from sliding out during operation.

To address this, I redesigned the top feet adapter from the ground up while retaining the highly effective bottom spring design. The new adapter positively locks into the A1’s factory feet, preventing any lateral movement or slipping during printing.

With this redesign, the entire foot assembly is now secure, stable, and far more effective at vibration isolation. An added benefit is the ability to print six complete feet, allowing improved support of the Y-axis—something I strongly recommend and that most other anti-vibration foot designs do not accommodate
