Description

Warning

This is an old design, along with the fact that there many companies that make variations of this model. This part may not suit your machine. print the mounting bracket first and see if it fits first. If not then this part will probably not fit.

Summary

When I received my K40E, they forgot to add the mount that attaches the air hose to the machine. They eventually did send it out but it wasn't a right angle mount so I made my own.

This hose adaptor is for a 3in hose (3.18898 / 8.1cm) internal diameter. its the one that came with my machine. It shouldn't be hard to modify this to suit any size hose. If there is enough demand I can look at adding other sizes.

Notes:

I printed mine with 3 top, 3 bottom and 3 shell for strength. You can print at 0.3 layer height to save on printing time.

Please note the way supports are added in the slicer.
1) the mount only needs supports to help with bridging and only on the ends.
2) the hose adapter has a shelf that is 1 layer high, this is only there so supports can be printed on it instead of all the way from the bed, reducing printing time, material and the chance of failure

Remove this shelf in red along with any supports printed on it. its just there to reduce printing time
