Digger Ice Auger Carrier K-Drill Cradle Cap

This is a cradle cap for the Digger Ice Auger Carrier (https://www.diggeranchor.com/product-page/auger-carrier) that fits the K-Drill.  The stock cradle cap is too narrow to fit the larger diameter of the K-Drill shaft.  The cradle arms also have to be short in order to accommodate the flighting of the auger, so this ultimately becomes more of a “rest”.  Durability unknow (new part, limited usage, but feels durable).  I used Bambu Lab PETG HF as that's the most durable filament I currently have.  Other durable materials may work fine.

Installation:

Remove the existing auger cap - keep the screw holding it on!

Place the new cradle in the tubing and drill into the new part through the existing screw hole using a 1/8" drill bit.

Insert screw through mount/cradle cap.

25% grid infill

5 bottom and top shell layers
