Description

Carpuride W702 adapter for Garmin Zumo (XT, XT2, Tread, Tread2) motorcycle mounts

Since I sometimes want to use my Carpuride in addition to my Garmin navigation system without having to mount an extra mount on my motorcycle, I designed this adapter.

The adapter has no power supply; I use the original Carpuride cable for this.

Next to the adapter, there is a TPU seal on the second plate.

Longer screws are required to attach the adapter. The original screws are too short.

I use the following: M3x12mm

Only tighten the screws by hand so as not to damage the adapter.

I have been using the adapter again for about 10 months. I have experimented a lot with different filaments.

I have had the best experience with ASA. ABS certainly works very well too!

Normal PLA is not suitable. PETG probably works, but I always use the original ASA from Bambu Lab for such parts.

I have had good experience with this so far in terms of durability.

PETG-CF was not break-proof; normal PETG was more stable. But if you want to be on the safe side, you should use ASA, ABS, or a similarly stable and weather-resistant filament.

Another variant for the Carpuride W502 is also available in my profile.

!!!Use of the adapter is at your own risk!!!
