Description

2025.01.22 - Version 2 is published! Includes a redesigned frame to accommodate all the accessories. There are now two version a flat car with wood stacks, stakes (side and end), and action camera mount, along with a Bulk Head version that has all the same accessories including a log stack specific to the bulk head car.

Note: The v1 flat car is not compatible with the v2 accessories as the stake pocket size had to change to make them work reliably.

I wanted a flat deck train car for The Ultimate Christmas Train, so I designed this to fit on the regular base. This one include stake pockets along the sides and ends.

To assemble, screw the frame to the regular base using 4x M2.5x6 BHCS using any of the 2 of the 4 holes at each end (you can add more screws if you want). Then place the wood deck between the rails using gentle pressure to seat it between the rails (its tight enough to stay in place with friction).
