Boost Me (for free)
Several tests were carried out until the conclusion was reached that one of the reasons the pins broke with little force was their size. Several tests were performed: pin size, width, and material. If you liked it, be sure to like it and add it to your model list. If possible, boost this work, which was done with great dedication. Thank you!
Ideal key for opening paper towel holders
Several tests were carried out and the version where the three pins held up was printed in PETG
Therefore, the top part was printed in PLA and the base containing the three pins was printed in PETG
The object was divided due to the need to print without supports, which is when I saw the opportunity to print the pins in PETG
Due to the connector, it was necessary to leave the fitting surface with at least 3 mm
To arrive at this model, it was necessary to test the pin size, width, and material
Note: When attempting to print the whole key in PETG, it was observed that adding supports was damaging the part, leaving marks and often rendering it unusable. Therefore, to avoid the need for supports, the part was divided into two parts, which are joined and glued
With more time, I will update this content with more details
