Description

V2 Ears just released

https://makerworld.com/en/models/1092287#profileId-1085930

We're going to Disney on ice in a few weeks and wanted some different Mouse ears.

These have a magnetic clip that you have under your hat or whatever you happen to have on and the ears simply clip on.

Each is run from it's own Gemma M0 board with a 500mah battery + lithium charger.

The circuit can be adapted along with the code to include a ballswitch or something similar which can then run a different lightshow.

For the light dfiffuser i cut up some milk bottles to fit the shape of the front insert.

Did you have any issues with the ears coming off the magnets or movement? It seems like there is space for another pair of magnets. I want to make this for a trip to the parks but worried about it coming off easily.

I have not experienced them coming off, however I have created a slightly larger piece for under your hat. Will upload this weekend when I get back from Disneyland. I know what you mean however about the magnets and I do want to spend some time realigning them and also adding in another magnet, sorry it may not be in time for your visit.

It looks great! Thank you for this. I think I will try attaching the base to a headband.

If you don’t use a ball switch does it automatically cycle thru the shows?

Hi. Yes, the code I have uploaded just cycles through the different light shows automatically. it can however be recoded to switch to alternate code / lightshow when the ball switch completes the circuit. - the original post I used the idea from had the lights flash when you shook your head. thanks again.

Awesome thank you for the quick reply. Just printed now waiting on the parts to get here. Is it cool if I upload a print profile so folks can print using Bambu Handy?

any thoughts on grabbing the frequency from the fcc data on the newer magic bands and coding it to a cheap receiver to sync up the lights with the fireworks?

I need help with the file transfer to the Gemma M0. I am new to this and it saying that the file is too big for my Gemma. It also doesn't pair says it doesn't detect anything. I do have a data cable and everything else seems to be okay. But what am I missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm new to this kind of stuff.
