There’s something properly satisfying about a dachshund that comes off the bed already waggle-ready. This little sausage dog is designed with a segmented, articulated body so it has a nice bit of movement straight after printing, making it a fun desk companion, fidget toy, or gift for any dog person.
The shape is simple and chunky on purpose, so it prints cleanly and feels sturdy in hand. Works brilliantly in PLA. No Supports are needed and is print in place.
Printing notes
- Recommended material: PLA
- Layer height: 0.16 mm if you want smoother curves
- Walls: 2–3
- Infill: 15%
- Supports: not needed
- After print: gently flex the joints to free them, if needed
Printer compatibility
Printed happily on Bambu Lab A1 / A1 Mini / P1S and should be fine on any well-tuned FDM printer.
Always keen to see what colours you go for, and whether you print yours as a classic tan or something daft and brilliant.
