Holiday Lantern – Santa’s Gift is a cheerful, festive lantern designed to create a smooth, evenly diffused glow that highlights its classic Christmas character.
The joyful Santa silhouette combined with gift details brings a warm, cozy, storybook atmosphere — perfect for holiday décor and seasonal displays.

Inside the lantern, an LED tealight is positioned at a 20° angle, improving illumination across the entire artwork and enhancing clarity around Santa’s outline, beard details, and gift shapes.

✨ Optional light diffuser
The model includes an optional light diffuser that improves the overall glow by softening transitions and guiding the light upward.
When used, it enhances illumination in the outer arms and lower section of the star, creating a more even and refined lighting effect.
The diffuser is ergonomically shaped so the tealight can be removed without disassembling any parts.

The lantern prints entirely without supports, and the geometry was carefully optimized to avoid long bridges while preserving crisp, clean line-art details throughout the star.

🔔 Requires an LED tealight
(Only LED — a real flame would melt the lantern.)

🖨️ Print Profiles (included in the project)

• Normal (0.20 mm) – quicker, still clean
• High Quality (0.16 mm) – best for sharp line-art and smooth glow transitions
• Lantern + Diffuser – 0.20 mm (lantern) + 0.28 mm (diffuser)
• Diffuser only (0.28 mm) – ideal for controlled light scattering

👉 The diffuser is printed on a separate build plate and is automatically included inside the combined lantern profiles.

🔥 Printing Notes

Recommended material: PLA White
Supports LED tealights up to ~41 mm height and 40 mm diameter
Clean the build plate thoroughly before printing.

Do not modify top/bottom layers, bridging settings, or layer height —
the model is fully optimized for clean bridging and uniform light propagation.
