Description

The Lifter! is a robust and precise router lift designed to upgrade your woodworking bench into a professional station. Engineered for stability and precision, this project bridges the gap between 3D printing and industrial workshop tools.

Why "The Lifter!"?

By utilizing LM12UU linear guides, this design eliminates side-play and ensures perfectly vertical travel. The inclusion of a 608 2RS bearing on the main screw makes height adjustments smooth and effortless, allowing for micro-adjustments to your bit depth.

The use of PETG-GF combined with a Strength-oriented profile ensures that the parts won't creep or deform over time under the constant tension of the router's weight.

Recommended Print Settings

To ensure the assembly handles the weight and vibrations of a router motor without flexing, the project has been optimized for:

  • Material: PETG-GF (Glass Fiber reinforced PETG). This provides the necessary rigidity and heat resistance for a workshop environment.
  • Print Profile: "Strength" (High wall count, 5+ perimeters, and dense infill) for maximum structural integrity.

Pro Tip: Use a drill press to press-fit the rods and bearings. This ensures perfect perpendicularity and a friction-free movement!

Insert Plate: This project is designed to be compatible with the excellent insert plate found here

Special Tool Included: Among the print profiles, you will find a dedicated tool for mounting and removing the insert plates. Just print it and add two M6 x 20mm screws to have a handy wrench for your table.
