Description
Summary
One of my IKEA LILLÅSEN desk drawer knobs sadly broke during a recent move, and since spare parts weren't readily available, I decided to model a replacement!
This 3D model is designed to be as close to the original knob geometry as possible, helping to keep the clean, minimalist look of the bamboo LILLÅSEN desk. It's a perfect fix to restore your desk's appearance and functionality without needing a whole new piece of furniture.
🛠️ Printing & Installation Notes:
- Design: I focused on accurately replicating the shape and dimensions of the factory knob.
- Print Settings: Should print well with standard settings (PLA or PETG recommended for durability).
- Tip: Consider a slightly higher infill percentage for added strength since drawer knobs take regular wear.
- Tolerance Note: Due to variations in 3D printer tolerances, the screw hole on the printed knob might be slightly undersized. Depending on your printer, you may need to use a drill bit (check the original knob/screw size) to slightly widen the hole for a perfect fit with the existing IKEA screw.
- No Supports Needed: The model is designed to print without supports.
Enjoy getting your LILLÅSEN desk back to its original glory! Please share a make if you print it!
