Summary

Want life-size realistic models of the US Army's newest 30mm Grenade Launcher rounds?  This is a full collection, including 4 different types of rounds from Armor Piercing and Counter Drone to High Explosive and Air Burst.

Background: The U.S. Army is developing new 30mm grenade rifles, primarily the Barrett Squad Support Rifle System (SSRS) and the FN MTL-30 to give infantry squads precision firepower against defilade targets (enemies behind cover) and small drones. These semi-automatic, magazine-fed systems offer greater range and payload than traditional 40mm launchers, integrating smart optics for airburst rounds, and are expected to undergo advanced testing in 2026, with Barrett and FN America leading the development.

Bambu Filaments used

  • (AP-I) Armor Piercing Incendiary
  • (HE-AB) High Explosive Air Burst
  • (C-UAS) Counter Drone UAS
    • Metal Coppr
    • Silk+ Rose Gold
    • Matte Yellow
  • (HVCC) “Shotgun” Pellet Spreading Round

Boost Me (for free)

If you enjoy my work and would like to help support my ability to share more (and even better) models in the future, please consider boosting or buying me a coffee at the link below.   Your support is what helps me have enough filament and supplies to do all the print testing required for my models to be high quality and easy to assemble.  It takes a mountain of test prints for each model. Thanks :-)

Here's a link to my Buy Me a Coffee page, thanks for the support!
