This Hexa-Link System is a versatile, high-performance storage solution designed for makers who appreciate clean lines and functional modularity. It features high-precision hexagon modules and specialized interlocking links that allow you to grow your display as your collection expands. The sleek, flush-fit design serves as a functional shelf, perfect for displaying miniatures, electronics, or standing alone as a modern geometric wall installation.
Design Features
This system is defined by its High-Precision Slide-n-Fit and Clean Minimalist Style. The Hexa-Links are engineered with a tight tolerance to provide a secure friction-fit without the need for glue or hardware. The exterior of the shelves has been designed for a smooth, texture-less finish, ensuring a professional look that complements any modern interior. It is designed to be mounted securely to the wall, creating a rigid and reliable display.

Infinite Growth: There is no limit to how many shelves you can add to a single cluster.
Multidirectional Expansion: You can connect new hexagons to any of the six sides of an existing unit to create unique, organic patterns.
Reconfigurable: The non-permanent slide-n-fit links allow you to disassemble and change your layout whenever you want to refresh your space.

How to Connect Your Shelves
The system utilizes a high-precision interlocking Hexa-Link mechanism to ensure a rigid connection between modules.
Align the Modules: Position two hexagon units side-by-side so the recessed link slots are facing each other.
Insert the Link: Slide the Hexa-Link connector vertically into the joined slots.
Secure the Fit: Apply firm pressure until the link is flush with the shelf edges; the friction-fit design ensures they stay locked together.

Mounting & Structural Support: The Anchor Module
Ensure your custom installation remains rock-solid with integrated wall-mounting points.
For larger or more complex honeycomb arrays, the Anchor Module provides the necessary structural foundation. These specialized hexagon units feature discrete, reinforced screw-hole tabs designed to secure your entire system directly to the wall. This ensures that even when fully loaded with collectibles, your modular masterpiece remains perfectly level and secure.
Optimized Mounting Frequency
One of the key benefits of the Hexa-Link system’s rigid interlocking design is that you do not need to screw every single shelf into the wall.
Strategic Placement: For most configurations, we recommend using an Anchor Module only once every 5 to 7 shelves.
Load Distribution: The interlocking links distribute weight across the entire cluster, allowing a few anchored points to support a much larger, floating array.
Clean Installation: This sparse mounting requirement means fewer holes in your wall while maintaining maximum weight capacity for your display.

The Finishing Fillers
Complete the look of your modular display by capping off unused connection points for a flush, professional finish.
To maintain the "no texture" aesthetic, I’ve designed specialized Hexa-Link Fillers. These are discrete inserts intended for the outer perimeter of your shelf cluster where no further expansion is planned. They ensure that every visible edge of your installation looks solid, intentional, and high-end.
Clean Perimeter: These fillers slide into any open Hexa-Link voids, hiding the internal mechanical slots from view.
Future-Proof Design: Like the rest of the Hexa-Link system, these fillers are non-permanent. If you decide to add more shelves later, simply slide the filler out and replace it with a connector link.

Hexa-Link Push-In Backer Plate
The Hexa-Link Push-In Backer Plate is a dedicated insert designed to press directly into the rear opening of any Hexa-Link module. Once installed, it creates a solid backing surface—eliminating wall visibility through the shelf and giving each hexagon a more finished, intentional appearance.
Clean Visual Backdrop: Blocks the wall behind the shelf, allowing displayed items to stand out without visual distraction.
Precision Friction Fit: Slides in securely with the same tight-tolerance, tool-free design used throughout the Hexa-Link system.
Modular & Optional: Install backers only where desired—mix open-back and closed-back modules within the same layout.
Consistent Aesthetic: Maintains the smooth, texture-less finish and flush geometry of the core system.
Like all Hexa-Link components, the backer plate is fully non-permanent. It can be removed or swapped at any time, ensuring your system remains flexible as your layout evolves.

This model is optimized for high-speed printing while maintaining the dimensional accuracy needed for the interlocking joints.
