Modular Airport Apron & Helipad(1:400)

A Modular Airport Apron & Helipad at a 1:400 Scale.

This is airport apron and Helipad module designed for my Modular Airport Taxiway set. It is based on a typical real-world airport apron configuration. Each tile is 15 × 15 cm and can accommodate your one 1:400 scale aircraft model.

You can expand the parking bay as much as  your needs. And, of course, it can be easily scaled in Bambu Studio, enabling to display your aircraft in different scales.

The parking bay numbers are designed as separate parts because the AMS / AMS Lite system supports a maximum of 4 colors. The numbers can also be freely modified or replaced in Bambu Studio as you wanted.

As for the helipad, I created both single and dual helipad modules to provide more flexibility for different airport layouts. The dual module includes its own taxiway marking in the print profile, while the single helipad uses the waxiway marking from Modular Airport Taxiway (1:400). 

Since most airports in the world do not have an “H” marking on their helipads and use only a circular marking instead, the “H” and the outer dotted line are designed to be optional.

You can easily paint them off in Bambu Studio according to your needs if you want to create a more realistic airport layout. When painting, please switch the Tool Type to “Fill” and enable “Edge Detection” mode, which will make the process much easier.

The taxiway marking can also be painted over if you wish.
