Description
QuadCortex Mounting System-RockBoard EPC 01 Case
Most commercially available Quad Cortex cases are very expensive, so I decided to design a cost-effective DIY solution that keeps the device permanently wired, well protected, and easy to set up on stage.
Key Features
- Quad Cortex mounting brackets
Securely hold the QC inside the RockBoard EPC 01 case without any drilling or permanent modifications. - RockBoard MOD mount (Breakout box)
Allows all audio, MIDI and power connections to be handled externally.
This prevents wear on the Quad Cortex’s own connectors and makes setup and teardown much faster. - Dedicated MIDI jack mount
Clean and solid integration for external MIDI control via the breakout panel. - Power supply transport holder
Custom holder for the original Quad Cortex power supply, keeping it safely fixed during transport. - Expression pedal cable guides (8 cm length)
Discreet cable routing to keep expression pedal cables tidy and mostly invisible inside the case.
Mounting & Stability
All parts are attached using Velcro, which perfectly matches the factory-installed Velcro inside the RockBoard EPC 01.
Despite using Velcro only, everything holds extremely solid and transport-safe, even during regular gigging.
