A friend of mine bought this second-hand Ikea furniture; a wheeled shelf called “Ikea Tunsta Trolley” from around 1990, it had deteriorated plastic parts and he couldn't find original spare parts, not even from Ikea, so he asked me for help.

I redesigned the plastic parts that act as structural connections in the furniture, and we conducted some tests.

We noticed that not all steel parts had the same diameter, so we designed 3 variants: 9mm, 9.5mm, and 10mm; necessary depending on the different paint thickness.

The original parts were made of a rubber-like material, one could also try printing the parts in TPU, I think.

We printed them in PLA and didn't even use supports, to avoid material waste; if greater precision is desired for overhanging parts, supports can be enabled (as in the attached reference image).

I hope this model can be useful to other users who encounter the same problem with the same Ikea furniture.
