Overview
This extender adds 15mm of clearance to the stock Bambu Lab P2S spool holder. It is designed to prevent physical interference between the spool and the PTFE tube connector rod when using larger or wider spools.
Compatibility
- Specifically for the stock Bambu Lab P2S spool holder.
Design Highlights
- 15mm Extension: This simple modification provides just enough space to ensure the PTFE connector support no longer touches the spool, allowing for a smooth and unobstructed filament path.
- Easy Integration: The part fits directly between the main spool holder arm and the connector rod, as seen in the white section of the reference photo.
Print Notes & Handling
- Cool Down Completely: To ensure a precise fit with the original parts, wait for the build plate to cool down fully before removal. Removing it while hot may lead to warping, which could affect the tightness of the connection.
- Bed Adhesion: Since fitment precision is vital for this component, ensure your build plate (ideally the official Textured PEI Plate) is thoroughly degreased before printing.
