My new QK65 MK3 keyboard has arrived. Because it doesn't have a standard 65 layout (it has an extra small screen and a dot matrix display on the right), I originally wanted to buy a dust cover that could also cover the screen. So I went to the store where I had purchased before. However, the merchant wasn't very keen on this business

Well, then I looked at the price again... erm...
I guess I'll just print it myself

Since the keyboard is wider than 300mm, for my small A1 mini, I can only print it in sections, or

I haven't been into 3D printing for long. I've printed many one-piece small boxes, and I have no resistance to Print in Place hinges. So, for this dust cover, I added hinges so the cover can fold, and thus can be printed in one piece

However, there are some imperfections. Since it's printed vertically, the bottom fillets inevitably have some overhang issues, which makes the fillet sections less than perfect. I enabled supports when printing. Everyone can judge for themselves; I don't think it would make much difference if supports are not enabled

Note:

  • I printed it using Bambu Lab PLA Basic light gray; this color matches the keyboard's elephant gray quite well
  • Actual dimensions when printed with PLA: Length 327mm, Width 104mm, Height 17mm, Wall thickness 2.5mm
  • The surface pattern is a sticker
