Shower Buddy is a fully parametric and customizable shower riser holder, designed to neatly hang razors, toothbrushes and other small bathroom accessories directly on your shower rail.

Thanks to the exposed parameters, you can easily adapt this model to your exact shower pole diameter, arm spacing and holder size, all directly inside MakerWorld.

The optional embedded smiley gives Shower Buddy a friendly touch, and can be enabled or disabled with a single parameter.

⚙️ Customizable Parameters

This model can be adjusted directly in MakerWorld:

• Riser diameter – Match your shower rail for a snug fit
  (Range: 16–26 mm)
• Arm spread angle – Control how far the two holders are spaced apart
  (Range: 55–140°)
• Left & right arm length – Distance from the shower rail to the center of the holder
  (Range: 17–60 mm)
• Holder inner diameter – Fit razors, toothbrushes or other accessories
  (Range: 6–15 mm)
• Holder opening angle – Make it easier to snap items in and out
  (Range: 45–135°)
• Arm thickness & height – Increase for heavier items or extra strength
  • Thickness: 3–6 mm
  • Height: 4–8 mm
• Riser clip height – Height of the clip around the shower rail for extra grip
  (Range: 16–30 mm)
• Smiley on/off – Enable or disable the embedded Shower Buddy face 🙂
  (-1 = enabled, 0 = disabled)

🖨️ Print Recommendations

• Material: PETG (recommended)
  Shower riser rails can get warm, PETG handles heat and moisture better than PLA.
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 15% or higher
• Perimeters: 3–4
• Supports: Not required

🔧 Usage Tip

If the holder slowly slides down the shower pole over time, you can:

• Add a small strip of rubber inside the clip
• Or apply a tiny amount of hot glue to increase grip

Both options are fully reversible and won’t damage the riser.
