Parametric device hanger (phone, tablet,...)

This model is a parametric wall hanger designed to hold phones, tablets, and other video devices by hooking them onto a vertical surface.

The hanger attaches by hooking onto the edge of a wall or panel, such as shower glass, cabinet doors, or similar flat surfaces, without the need for screws or permanent mounting.
It’s ideal for hands-free video watching, video calls, or media playback.

The model is easy to customize using MakerWorld’s online parametric editor (just click the “Customize” button under the print profile section), allowing you to adapt it precisely to your device and mounting surface.

Customizable Parameters

The following parameters can be adjusted directly in the MakerWorld editor:

• deviceHeight – Height of the device to hang
• deviceWidth – Width of the device to hang
• deviceThickness – Thickness of the device
• angle – Viewing angle of the device
• hookDepth – Thickness of the wall or surface the hanger hooks onto

Printing Instructions

The model is designed to use very few supports and to take advantage of bridges to reduce material waste and print time.

If you are printing a custom model generated with the online editor, you must manually paint the two faces shown in the image below.
These are the only supports required for a successful print.
 

After painting the support areas, enable supports with the following settings:

• Support Type: Normal (manual)
• Support Style: Snug
