Description

Pants & Belt Holder for IKEA PAX – Adjustable (v2 Metal Pin Recommended)

⚠️ Important:
For best strength and long-term durability, the new v2 model is recommended:

Keep your pants and belts neatly organized with this simple, sturdy holder designed for IKEA PAX wardrobes or any cabinet system that uses 5 mm pin holes.

This original model works well, but v2 is a significant structural upgrade and is now the recommended version, offering improved strength and reliability.

Why choose v2 (recommended)?

  • Designed to use standard 5 mm metal shelf pins (store-bought) for maximum strength
  • Much stronger and more durable than the original printed-pin (v1) design
  • Better suited for heavier loads and long-term use
  • Two pin variants included:
    • Flanged pin version
    • Smooth pin version

No metal pins? Still covered ✅

If you don’t want to buy metal pins, v2 also supports 3D-printable “metal-style” pins.

  • These printable pins are significantly stronger than the original v1 printed pins
  • Designed with improved geometry for better load handling
  • Ideal if you prefer a fully printable solution while still benefiting from the v2 design improvements

(For maximum strength and longevity, real metal pins are still strongly recommended.)

Shared features

  • Print-and-play design – no supports required
  • One-piece holder geometry for clean, easy printing
  • Quick installation – insert pins and mount directly into cabinet holes
  • Adjustable widths available:
    • 95 mm
    • 110 mm
    • 125 mm
      (Size differences shown in images)

Printing recommendations

  • Strongly recommended material: very dry PETG
  • 0.16 mm layer height suggested for strength and surface quality
  • If pins (metal or printed) fit slightly loose, a small dab of superglue can be used

Agreed, tiny parts. Could add brim but then would need to sand to make them fit i think.

It's okay but the tips are very fragile, 3 have already broken... they break easily

I only just noticed there was a v2, but the original version printed well in just PLA+ from Jayo. Only had them for about a month, but no issues so far fitting it into my IKEA closet organizer. If I run into any issues though, I'll do try out the newer version. Excellent model though! Thank you so much! Has helped save a lot of space in my closet :)
