Cola bottles and mineral water bottles, as containers with good sealing performance, are simply storage essentials for desiccants, water beads, or even grains however, their smaller openings require a funnel to quickly and cleanly fill them This funnel has a threaded base that can be directly screwed onto compatible bottle mouths, freeing up your hands and allowing for better control over the pouring speed

Currently, this funnel series is compatible with various types and sizes of bottle openings (see compatibility list for details; specific brands and names mentioned in the text have been modified to varying degrees to avoid advertising suspicion) Additionally, the top of the small-sized funnel also features an external thread, making it convenient to connect to larger funnels

Print profiles will be gradually added to this model to accommodate different bottles Some profiles may include a thread for compatibility testing To avoid wasting filament, it is recommended to print the interface test part first use the "Skip Part" function for the funnel body (this function is available on both desktop and mobile) If you do not need to test compatibility, please "skip" the interface test part Some threads are directional, if it doesn't connect, try the other way around

Name Explanation

Given that this funnel series plans to be compatible with more bottles, and many beverage bottles use the same type of opening, file naming uses codes, for example

1.BC_B2F_C1M, the code is divided into three parts BC refers to this project, meaning all Bottle Mouth Immortal series funnels use this prefix B2 is the bottle opening specification, F is for female thread; according to the compatibility list, B2F can be installed on various bottles from Nongfu Sanquan (Li Liang Di Vitamin Water, C1000, Water), and water buckets (5L mineral water) C1M represents a funnel diameter of 51.5mm, and the male thread can connect with funnels marked C1F or the Nongfu Sanquan 12.9L water bucket cap (as found in the table)

2.BC_C1F_80, BC refers to this project C1 is the bottle opening specification, F is for female thread; according to the compatibility list, C1F can be installed on the Nongfu Sanquan 12.9L water bucket 80 represents a funnel diameter of 80mm

The series code only refers to the corresponding thread In print files and print profile names, F refers to female threads (bottle caps), and M refers to male threads (bottle bodies)

The same type of thread may be used by different beverages from different manufacturers

For bottles with different threads that are too similar in size, it's possible that although their caps are not interchangeable, they can use the same funnel or that caps are interchangeable but cannot use the same funnel (if you encounter such situations, please provide feedback in the comments, and I will try to adapt for compatibility)

A Series (Small Size)

Notes and Best Practices

Please select the bottle based on the type of items actually being held

Due to the characteristics of 3D printing, this funnel is not recommended for direct food contact, whether it's PLA, PETG, or food-grade filament, because there might be filament debris in the material tube and inside the printer, the extruder may contain grease, and nozzle residue can decompose at high temperatures If you need to use the funnel to transfer food, it is recommended to use clean cling film or a food bag for isolation

After use, it is recommended to simply clean the funnel to avoid contamination when holding or transferring different items

This funnel does not have watertight performance; the sealing method between the funnel and the bottle mouth is end-face contact

Currently, there are two common sealing methods for water bottles on the market carbonated beverages and mineral water commonly use an interference fit with the bottle cap lip for sealing, while vitamin water and C1000 use rubber seals Both sealing methods are sufficient for beverages and mineral water, but according to actual tests, rubber seals provide better sealing, especially suitable for long-term storage of molecular sieves or other desiccants

For buckets, due to their large capacity, they can hold rice, grains, etc.; for the bottle cap, consider adding cling film to enhance the sealing effect

This funnel has not been optimized or tested for liquids, but theoretically, it can be used for transferring low-wettability liquids (it is recommended to use cling film or a food bag for isolation)
