This project was inspired by community members encouraging me to go big. And it is very big. This model's haft contains two 3 foot long threaded rods. Coming in at well over 6 feet tall, this monstrosity of a two handed chain axe is a formidable project due to its size, not really its complexity.
The mechanization of this is quite simple, and the scale of the parts made it easy to install the electronic components, which are listed in the build guide above. This project allowed This Techpriest to make improvements on the Drive Gear for the standard chainsword and to improve the design of the chain so that it is more smooth and flexible. Both of these important improvements are included in this design and have been made available for Ratjob's Chainsword Mk.2 as well.
