Description

Edit: Added the 3mf file/profile on 5/8/2026 for printing the Siraya Tech PEBA with this model. The only difference is a nozzle temperature of 245C, and a Z-distance of 0.35mm. It uses the same model as the SainSmart PEBA.

I can't seem to add a printing profile because I had to create a profile with custom filament, so the 3MF is available for download instead. I will work on uploading a printing profile. 

 

This is our new SainSmart PEBA Airless Basketball model! The SainSmart PEBA is an incredible filament. This filament has had the best bounce/durability per cost that I have tested so far. At $60 or less per kilogram, it is the same price as the BIQUE PLA-HR filament, but has the same bounce/durability as the Kimya PEBA-S filament. Like all of the airless basketball filaments, I always dry the filament for several hours before printing, and I always add a release agent to the printing bed (glue stick) before printing.

 

I have included the STL for just the file, along with the 3MF that includes the settings and supports that I used to print the basketball. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out, and thank you for the support!

Printer: Bambu Lab P1S

Nozzle Temp: 240C

Bed Temp: 55C

Nozzle size: 0.6mm

Layer Height: 0.3mm

Z seam: Random

Walls: 4 on sides/bottom, 5 on top

Infill: 50% gyroid

Printing speed: 40 mm/s

Supports: manual tree (slim) supports on bottom of the ball only

Z-distance: 0.31
