Tricorder (TOS) - Handheld Sensor/Scanner

This handheld sensor/scanner is made to go with the TOS Tricorder by The Wand Company.  The Wand Company included inserts for the storage section to hold a sensor, but does not make a sensor at this time.

This is not made to match the prop used on the show, but to fit properly in the Tricorder from Wand.

The model is in three pieces, the sensor end, the handle, and the end cap.   An earlier version had 4 pieces which had to be glued, but this version has threads for each piece to fit snugly in the corresponding piece.    Each piece is on a separate plate, so that a different color may be used, and an AMS would not be required (and even with an AMS, it cuts waste and saves time to print as 3 pieces).

The latest version has a sensor component - version 8, this is used with version 7 handle and end cap.   The sensor v8 is shorter, improving fit and reducing possibly of getting hung up in the device (version 7 was much more snug).   v8 also adds a fillet top edge on the sensor, and changing up the bottom surface pattern and infill for better realism when printing transparent.  Providing pictures showing comparison
