Skadis Adhesive Wall Mount – 10 mm / 20 mm Wall Distance
Drill-free adhesive wall mount for IKEA Skadis.
The holder clamps the panel at the top and bottom edges, so that all mounting grooves remain freely usable.
Attachment is done using double-sided mounting tape on the back.
Two versions are available:
- 10 mm wall distance
- 20 mm wall distance
Principle of Function
- Form-fitting clamping at the top and bottom of the Skadis panel
- No use of the pegboard holes
- Wall distance defined by component geometry
Assembly
- Apply high-quality double-sided mounting tape (e.g. 3M VHB) to the back of the holder
- Attach holder to the Skadis panel
- Align panel
- Press onto the cleaned wall surface and secure
Note: Full adhesive strength is only achieved after several hours, depending on the tape used.
Printing Recommendations
- Material: PLA or PETG
- PLA: sufficient for indoor use
- PETG: recommended for higher temperatures or a slightly more flexible fit
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Infill: 16 %
- Wall lines: 3
- Print orientation: orient so that clamping forces do not act transverse to layer adhesion
Load Capacity / Limitations
- For light to medium tool loads
- Load capacity is primarily determined by the mounting tape and wall surface
- Not suitable for rough, dusty, damp, or silicone-containing surfaces
