Description

A Smarter Way to Organize Sockets

Precision-designed. Modular. Built for real tool users.

Currently supports ¼" 3/8" and ½" Drive Metric.

After you’ve put it to use, I’d love to see your setup—please post pictures and leave a rating. Seeing these designs out in the world genuinely makes my day, and your feedback helps others discover them too.

Socket storage hasn’t evolved the way most tool systems have — until now. This project combines the clean modularity of a tool grid with the proven ergonomics of the Hansen socket tray, reimagined into a flexible, high-density system designed for serious organization.

After countless hours refining peg orientation and spacing, the result is fast identification, easy access, and maximum efficiency without visual clutter. Four interchangeable peg sizes — Stubby, Shallow, Mid (semi-deep), and Deep — allow every socket to be stored exactly where and how you want it. Pegs rotate 90 degrees, making sizes easy to read and sockets effortless to grab.

The system supports both dedicated pegs or standard socket adapters, giving you total control over your setup. Optional 3.6 mm pin holes are built in for users who prefer pinned retention, while the default design remains pin-free for a cleaner look and simpler workflow.
- Designed to use the OEM Tool Grid Screws which can be found here.

Material choice was just as intentional as the design. The adapter base that mounts to the tool grid is printed in PLA for precision and rigidity, with PETG recommended for users who want increased durability over time. The pegs and pins are printed horizontally in PETG for added strength, using PLA supports that remove cleanly and easily, ensuring a strong, reliable fit without post-processing headaches. Please use the provided print profiles, they are tuned for bambu PETG with PLA support and vice versa.

Designed specifically for the LX Designed Slim Toolgrid baseplate, With 10mm Grid Spacing and added height for 5mm slim boards. Each adapter mounts securely using OEM M4 × 10 mm self-tapping toolgrid screws — no modification required. If my adapters don't work with your tool grid, let me know which one you have and I will make a adapter that matches the grid spacing.

UPDATE

  • Adapters are getting a Overhaul to work with Seraph's Designed 6X6 Toolgrid baseplate, Which uses 9.5mm Grid Spacing and is 8mm tall. The adapters will be 3mm shorter then the ones originally created and will overall keep drawer height the same and also keeps the same pegs. These new adapters should be uploaded later tonight. I will also make new pins for these adapters.

  • As of now, SAE and Metric are out for the standard sizes offered in Hansen socket trays ¼", ⅜", and ½". ¾" Adapter is made, but for now I dont have many sockets that size. If you would like a specific size or sizes made, don't hesitate to reach out. All pegs fit in All adapters, only difference is ¾ is built into the base adapter where as ¼,⅜, and ½ they are built into the peg.

If you believe your tool storage should be as thoughtfully engineered as the tools themselves, this system was built for you.

Have an idea, a tweak in mind, or want something custom-designed? Don’t hesitate to reach out via PM or on Discord (theogspeed).
