Description

I created this so our Echo Show remote was always available. I also made a notch so the volume controls are always accessible.

There are three STL versions of the file. The original allows the remote to fit with a little wiggle room. This is the print profile. The snug version holds the remote more firmly, but if you plan to remove it frequently, that may wear down the text on the application buttons over time. The short version is a snug fit without the taller back guide and foam tape recess.

Due to adding weight to one side of the screen, you may wish to adjust the screen rotation if your Echo Show is mounted.

The holder mounts to the screen with double sided foam tape. Specifically, I used 3M 9448A 2mm thick tape, which is easily cut to size (15mm x 50mm). If you want to use thinner tape or adhesive, you can modify the pocket in Bambu studio.

Some printing tips - if you enable adaptive layers, the sloped section will come out smoother, but it may result in some banding at the bottom of the notch. Since that part of the holder isn't visible with the remote holstered, I suggest not doing that.

If you'd like to see any minor changes, feel free to reach out, and I'll see if I can make it happen. Thanks for viewing my model!

That remote is clearly a different version than the one I modeled this for. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

You could try scaling it up little. Amazon has produced so many different remotes, it's possible yours is slightly different, even though it looks the same as the one I created it for.

it is very close, but causes buttons to be depressed when you slide it in. I will try scaling.

For those of you who might be curious if you have a echo show 21 or the 2nd gen show 15 with the remote you may want to increase the scale to 106%.
