Description
Shokz Open Series: Locking Travel Case
This slim, rugged case is built to protect your Shokz OpenRun, OpenRun Pro, and OpenSwim headphones. It features a secure sliding lock to keep them safe in your bag and a "halo" shape to save space.
Note for Swimmers: I have included a version with drainage holes specifically for the OpenSwim model so your headphones can dry out after use.
How to Assemble and Break-In
Assembly: Use Your Filament! You don’t need any screws or extra hardware for this. The hinge uses a piece of 1.75mm filament as the axle.
- Line up the top and bottom pieces of the case.
- Cut a small, straight piece of filament from your spool and slide it through the hinge hole.
- Once it’s through, trim the edges. You can use a lighter or a warm piece of metal to slightly melt the ends of the filament so it stays in place forever.
Breaking It In When you first print the case, the blue locking slider will feel very tight.
- The First Snap: You might need to push hard to get it to click shut the first time. This is normal!
- Make it Smooth: Open and close the lock and the lid about 10–20 times.
- The Result: The plastic will "wear in" as you use it. After a few tries, the mechanism will feel much smoother while still staying securely locked.
