Description

Modular French cleat slats designed for standard 3/4" French cleat systems, modeled to match real plywood thickness. While 3/4" plywood is nominal, most sheets measure closer to 0.70", so these cleats are designed with an actual thickness of 0.71" for a proper fit.

Each cleat prints in 8" sections and features dovetail ends to connect multiple pieces together. Six sections create a 48" slat, with optional end caps included for a clean, finished look.

Features

  • Compatible with 3/4" French cleat systems
  • 0.71" actual thickness for real-world plywood
  • 8" modular sections with dovetail connectors
  • 4" mounting hole spacing (works with 16" on-center studs)
  • Mounting holes sized for #8 screws
  • Includes end caps

Printing Notes

  • Recommended material: PETG
  • Strong enough for typical shop storage based on real-world use

Not the cheapest way to make French cleats—but a clean, modular solution that’s worked well in my shop.
