A-4 Skyhawk Kit Card

Discover the A-4 Skyhawk in the iconic “Lady Jessie” livery, one of the most recognizable paint schemes flown during the Vietnam War. Compact, agile, and hard-hitting, the Skyhawk proved that a small aircraft could play a major role in modern air combat.

Fun Facts:
• Nicknamed “The Scooter” for its small size and excellent maneuverability.
• “Lady Jessie” was flown by VA-163 “Saints” from the aircraft carrier USS Oriskany.
• The A-4 could carry a surprisingly heavy weapons load despite its compact design.
• The Skyhawk also became famous in pop culture through Top Gun (1986), where it portrayed enemy fighters.
