This 6-Letter Mechanical Cryptex is a precision-engineered 3D-printed vault inspired by The Da Vinci Code. It features a satisfying mechanical feel and a customizable combination system.

Features:

With 26 letters on each ring, there are over 300 million possible combinations (26^6), making it a serious challenge to crack!

Fully Functional Locking Mechanism: Precision internal slots ensure the core only slides out when the correct code is aligned.

No Hardware Required: Designed to be printed and assembled using only 3D-printed parts.

Compact & Robust: The thick-walled design gives it a premium, heavy feel once assembled.

Perfect for Gift Exchanges: Use it for "Escape Room" style puzzles at home or to hide cash/gift cards for friends.

Printing Tips for Best Results:To ensure the rings spin smoothly and the locking mechanism slides perfectly:Resolution: 0.2mm or 0.16mm for the rings (to make the letters pop).

Infill: 15-20% Gyroid for strength.

No support needed!

Printed with Sunlu PLA.

Tolerance: If your printer is well-calibrated, the parts should fit snugly. If they are too tight, a light sanding on the inner core works wonders.

Assembly:

Follow the pictures as they are uploaded, make sure to use the right clips and orientations on all the different holes. You set your own combination the same way as shown in the picture.

Its a fun build but can take some time to get used to, but once you do its fairly simple.

Works perfect, thank you. Had a little trouble with the assembly but finally figured it out. Made a series of photos of assembly in case it is ever disassembled.

Try to follow the pictures till a 100%, make sure the grooves and everything connects properly, also look at the comments a person did a great instruction, let me know if you need more help :)

Its around 20x20mm cubed, but 22mm diagonally, because the way its formed :) Could hide a smaller key, but not a standard house key.
