Boost Me (for free)

Boosting me helps me keep creating new models!

Super simple easy to print but handy 2x4 T- Jig for assembling work benches, or adding cross braces.  Could be used for framing walls too, but that's not really what I created it for.  I build a lot of shop furniture out of 2x4s because they are cheap and, when done correctly, are super sturdy and easy to do.

This simple T Jig helps you align 2 2x4s (assuming you have a square cut end, can't help you with that if your cuts are crooked! LOL) for quick assembly of things like cross braces when building bench tops or small cart tops or shelves.  I left a small cut out on the end for end screwing the 2x4s together.

It's intentionally designed to not be too tight on the 2x4s to allow for a little wiggle room if you get that super special bendy wood from the big orange or big blue box.  You know the ones…

For those times when you just need to get 2 2x4s but jointed together for a quick bench top or shelf and don't have the 3 hands necessary to keep them aligned while you quickly drive a couple screws into them.

I suppose you could use this for aligning studs for wall framing too, but there are better tools out there for that.
