Description

Takamine Acoustic Guitar Wall Hanger – 3D Print File

I made this hanger specifically for Takamine acoustic guitars because I noticed something a little annoying: the neck area just below the headstock on a lot of Takamines is very rounded (both vertically and horizontally), and that shape was causing my guitar to slowly slip/rotate out of other 3D-printed hangers. So I designed this one to hold the guitar right below the widest part of the headstock, where it naturally sits more securely.

Print settings (important)

  • Material: PETG
  • Profile: Strength
  • Wall mounting hardware not included

I’ve printed and tested this and it feels solid when printed with the settings above — but like anything wall-mounted, your print quality + wall anchoring matters a lot.

Mounting hole measurements (center-to-center)

  • Top 2 screw holes: 28.57 mm (1.125 in) apart
  • Bottom 2 screw holes: 20.00 mm (0.787 in) apart
  • Vertical distance (top row to bottom row): 18.62 mm (0.733 in)

Minimum screw length recommendation (Home Depot “common size”)

  • #10 x 4-1/2 in structural wood screw
