Description
You see, at AVIDSEN, we scrape together everything we can so the boss can add a jacuzzi to his collection. So we save plastic like pigs, and as a result, it breaks! Of course, it's precisely calculated to break, so you buy another spare part and I spend less on original production. Q.E.D.!
Now, if you, my FDM and 3D modeling comrade, are probably looking for an AVIDSEN spare part for the TEHA410 gate motor model, and more specifically, this fragile part that is connected to the gate to move it. Forgive me, Engineer, I've renamed it “Arm Hand” and took the liberty of filling in the weakening gaps you left. Granted, it will only be PLA in the end, but it works! And even if the lifespan of my part is reduced, it far exceeds the two it takes me to print this. So I win against the toxic planned obsolescence merchants!.... :D
I also took the liberty of making it a single block, 80 mm longer instead of 40 mm, well rounded where necessary to eliminate all possibilities of friction. Then I took care to print it in a direction perpendicular to the force exerted. That is to say, I avoid stressing the part in the direction of the print layers, but perpendicular to the layers, so that it's the edge, the layer edges that support the required force along their lengths.
If the head breaks: Check the programmed force in the control unit (preferably 2/4), speed 2/4 to start) > Re-Print.
Or Drill into the axis of the defunct head, diam 11 mm, screw in an M11, this will create the original metallic reinforcement.
Of course, this is a print with 100% infill. The object forms a “T”, right?… So the left end of the horizontal bar of the “T” must be glued to the print surface, and supports must be added to support the vertical part of the “T”. This is imperative to respect the direction of effort /!\.
You look at your part, you see “T”. Once placed on your print bed, you should see a "|--" with supports for the vertical part of the “T” lying down like that. I can't make it any clearer, sorry.
