This is a remix of the Origin-Zero Mecha created by @Kit Crafters.

I really like the original model, but I noticed several structural issues. I felt it was worth the effort to step in and fix them to create a truly solid version.

The Goal:
The MK-II is designed to be the ultimate "Blank Canvas" for the "Hosted By Creator: @Kit Crafters Mecha Remix" contest. It offers a solid, frustration-free foundation for other creators to build their own custom remixes upon.

MK-II key Improvements:

  • The joints have been completely redesigned to be "pop-proof." They now offer much stronger friction and holding power, preventing limbs from detaching easily.
  • The articulation geometry has been tweaked to allow for wider angles and more dynamic poses.
  • Specific improvements to the Neck and Waist connections for a precision fit (no more loose or overly tight spots).
  • I modified the design so that the Arms and Thighs now share the same base model.
  • Minor shape adjustments were made to ensure a consistent design language across all parts.
  • I have included cleaned-up .STEP files and the full .FCStd (FreeCAD) project file.
  • The print profile has been updated with optimized part orientation and settings for the best surface quality.
