The Ning Hai class light cruisers were the strongest warships in the Republic of China Navy at the time, totaling two vessels, the Ning Hai and the Ping Hai
The ships were approximately 109.7 meters long, 11.9 meters wide, with a standard displacement of approximately 2500 tons
The Ning Hai was ordered from Japan's Harima shipyard in 1930 and entered service in 1932. It was equipped with three twin 140mm main guns, six 76mm anti-aircraft guns, and two twin torpedo tubes, carrying a reconnaissance seaplane
The Ping Hai was designed in Japan and built by Jiangnan Shipyard. Construction began in 1931, it was not launched until 1935, and entered service in 1937. It was equipped with three twin 140mm main guns and two twin torpedo tubes, but the number of 76mm anti-aircraft guns was reduced to three, and the seaplane was removed
After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, both ships were bombed and sunk by Japanese aircraft in the Battle of Jiangyin in 1937. In 1938, the Japanese salvaged and repaired them, renaming them Ioshima and Yashima in 1944, and they were sunk by US forces in September and November of the same year
The model scale is 1:2000, approximately 55mm long. I have provided models for both ships, but there are subtle differences in the hull and bottom of the two ships, please pay attention to distinguish them
The Ning Hai hull has a seaplane, while the Ping Hai does not. The Ning Hai has three steam engines and a three-shaft bottom, while the Ping Hai has two steam engines and a two-shaft bottom
Two 4x1mm magnets can be installed in both the hull and the bottom for magnetic connection
